Room wanted for quiet, tidy, mellow person! SEPT

Hi!

I have decided to move to Sheffield in the next month or so and I'm looking for some short to medium term accommodation with some friendly housemates who can give me local tips!

In the medium to longer term I will be looking to buy a property, so I need a base to explore the different parts of the city and work out where I want to settle. I also need to meet some nice people and make some friends!

I've been working in social care looking after adults with learning disabilities / mental health issues for many years but more recently have been employed as a Maths tutor at a local Further Education College in Sussex which is what I plan to do in September.

In terms of lifestyle, I'm pretty clean living but like the odd glass of wine occasionally and enjoy learning new pudding recipes! I like walking and charity shopping and hanging out in cafes.

I'd prefer to share with maximum of 2 other people really who are fairly mellow and considerate - friendly introverts would be good! An ensuite would be amazing but not essential. I like my own company but I'm a bit like a cat and need a bit of company sometimes too. (I am more of a cat person than a dog person, unless the dog is a bit cat-like).

I'd like to live with people who actually want to live people as this makes for a happier home life.

I'm pretty left leaning and interested in minimising my environmental impact, so would prefer to live with housemates with a reasonably similar outlook, although I am fairly tolerant of most things. (It may be difficult for me to share with people who read the Daily Mail though).

I would consider any area of Sheffield that is fairly safe and with good public transport links (I don't drive). Somewhere with good cafes and pubs would be nice.
