Software Developer relocating for new job

Hi! I am a software developer and I've received a job offer from a big investment firm and I am looking to relocate to London from Poole. My ideal room would be a spacious double bedroom with a medium-large sized desk (or space for one) as I will be working from home for most of the time. I would also like it to be less than 30mins from Moorgate station as that where my office is, but it's not a necessity.

I'm originally from Lithuania, but I have lived in the UK for almost 5 years. I studied Physics at Warwick and I have worked as a software developer for close to 2 years.

I like tech-y stuff: computers, software, video games, tablets, etc. I am also an ex professional drummer, so I like discussing and listening to music, audiophile gear, instruments, etc. (don't worry, I don't have drums with me and I'm not planning to get them in the near future :) .

As for my personality, I am a pretty laid back guy. I keep to myself for the most part, playing video games, watching movies or reading books in my room. I like to do something most weekends and I am happy to chill at home and chat with my roomates, but if they're not keen, I will probably go out somewhere with my friends.

I absolutely love dogs, I do not have one, but living with one would be a benefit. I like cats too, but I am slightly allergic to them, so if they can keep out of my room and don't climb on countertops it's fine. All other pets are good.

£1000 is my maximum budget (including bills), but ideally it would be around the £800 range. If bills are included, I would strongly prefer to not have any limitations on heating. I am wiling to pay a premium to have the option of not freezing in the winter. I will be coming to London every weekend to do viewings.
