Mature professional (F34) seeking flatshare

Looking for an en-suite double in a shared flat in a quiet and residential neighborhood. Noise is an important factor for me as I’m a super light sleeper and suffer from insomnia.

About me: I am 34, queer, from California 🇺🇸. Considered myself super easygoing, clean and respectful. I love exploring neighborhoods (my favorites are anywhere near nature or parks!) drinking too much coffee (will be bringing a hand pull espresso machine w me), doing active things such as climbing and hiking, cooking and hosting dinner parties (and experimenting w new recipes). I currently work at TfL and am admittedly a bit of a nerd when it comes to cities, transport and architecture. Had previously worked in mission driven startups, incubators, and started my own social enterprise. I’m a bit of a generalist with all things in life, not just in what I do. Which explains why I’m always running around trying out different things. I say yes more than no ¨̮
I'd love to get to know my flatmate and actually form a good connection, to have a good chat and a beer with every now and then. That said, I’m very independent and often require a bit of alone time. It is important to me that we both are intentional in creating a welcoming and safe home for ourselves. I’m not a neat freak at all but care very much that we pick up after ourselves and keep common areas tidy.
