**Please don't contact me to suggest your place if it is not in one of the areas I have mentioned in my list of options, and especially if your place is missing any of the things on my non-negotiables list - thanks so much!**
I am relaxed, quiet, very neat & tidy, and I value peace and calm so I am definitely NOT looking for a loud party house and definitely don't want to live in a very noisy environment. I consider myself to be flexible, respectful, understanding, and easily approachable. I am very aware of others and their needs, and am intentional about finding routines and ways of living that works for everyone staying together. I am more on the introverted side, but I'm also friendly and love being around people in a relaxed way. I am a fairly good cook, and I always clean up after myself - you would never need to worry about me leaving a mess anywhere.
I am currently working from home most of the time so I am looking for a place that is quiet the majority of the time ie. not near a busy road, not surrounded by noisy neighbours, not in a major flight path, and that has parking close by.
I would prefer to not spend more than £700 INCLUDING ALL bills / council tax / internet / house cleaning etc., but would be open to spending a bit more if the place is amazing and closer to Kingston upon Thames. The further away from Kingston I am, the less likely I will be keen to go above this amount due to the extra petrol expenses to get to and from work when needed.
I would ideally love to live with someone/people (not more than 1 family or 3 separate adults) who are neat, tidy, clean, not noisy, and who are considerate of others. I would be in my room most of the time, but I wouldn't want to live in a space where I feel like I need to be confined to the room, so it would be great if I can have use of the kitchen and the lounge/diningroom/garden - it doesn't have to be all the time, but I just wouldn't want to be limited to one room in the house on a regular basis.
My non-negotiables are:
- a place either on my own (studio apartment or annex) or sharing with no more than 3 other people (or 1 family) - the less people the better
- a quiet neighbourhood (no noisy neighbours)
- not near a busy road or too close to an airport (I HATE traffic & siren noise)
- very good & reliable internet and mobile phone signal
- parking close by (preferably not permit parking if possible)
- non-smoking
- no mould in the house
- good heating in winter (in the bedroom & bathroom specifically) - doesn't need to be on all the time, but I wouldn't want to be sitting in temperatures below 18 degrees during the day throughout winter
- clean, tidy, and considerate housemates
My preferences (not deal breakers) are:
- a double room that gets lots of light (the bigger in size, the better)
- an unfurnished bedroom would be ideal, or a room with space for me to be able to add my bedroom furniture, if possible. (I would prefer to keep my current furniture, but if I find a perfect place that is furnished and can't fit my own furniture into the room as well, I will look to sell my furniture so it isn't a deal breaker, just a preference)
- a place with loft storage or a garage or shed for additional storage (this is not a must, but would be great to have)
- a kitchen with a gas stove, an oven, & a fridge that I can make use of. I would also like my own cupboard space in the kitchen to house some of my cooking things and groceries etc. and will need to use a washing machine.
- a bathroom with a bath if possible (en suite even better, but not essential)
- I would ideally like to be within 5-10min drive from a train station that goes to London within 45 min or less
- I would ideally like to be within 5-10min of a grocery store or a convenience store
Please contact me if your place is in one of the areas I am looking for and if it has all the things on my non-negotiables list. Thanks so much!
