Guardian journalist and novelist

Hello, I am a journalist the Guardian, and part-time novelist and songwriter, looking to put some roots down and create a home in east London.

About me:

I want a home where I can have the odd games or film night, maybe a house meal once a week, pop down to the local pub.

I pad about the place like a well-fed cat, and there's always space on my bike rack if you need something picked up. I'm clean. I cook nice meals. I put crockery away like it's going out of fashion. My spider removal sideline remains a going concern. I like going on hiking trips, and after growing up beside an Irish forest, I really value access to nature.

I'm pretty chilled, but I like a bit of space. I like to relax in the evenings by cooking, maybe going for a run, reading, catching up with a housemate. I got to the gym a couple of times a week, so you might hear me moaning and/or boasting about that.
