Need Room Near UCL | Commute Sub-1 Hour | £750pcm

Hi,

I’m Priestly Adejo, a 22-year-old MEng Mechanical Engineering student at UCL. I’ve just wrapped up a year-in-industry placement as an Electrical & Control Systems Engineering intern at SLB and will be back in London from late August/early September.

What I’m looking for:

A single room, double room (or studio) within a one-hour commute of UCL (zones 1–4 ideal)

Rent up to £750 pcm, all bills included preferred

Move-in with flexibility into September or October

A bit about me:

Outgoing but easy-going—into powerlifting, boxing and rocketry

Tidy and respectful of shared spaces; I value a clean, quiet home

Enjoy occasional movie nights or dinner at home, but also happy to give housemates space

Ideal flatmates:

Friendly, considerate professionals or postgrads who balance social time and study/work

Respect house rules around cleanliness and noise, especially on weekends or late evenings

Prefer a place where we can occasionally catch up over a coffee/making dinner but also have our own routines

What to expect:

I’m happy to pay one month’s rent upfront and provide references/ID promptly

I’m keen on a stable 6-month+ stay, but open to longer if it’s the right fit

Own bathroom preferred; sharing with just one other person is okay.
