Description

Hi everyone,

I’m an art historian in the third year of my PhD at the University of London, and I’m looking for a room within walking distance of King’s Cross (WC1X) or the Strand (WC2R). I would ideally like to live with professionals or mature students.

I am currently focused on writing my thesis, and I’m comfortable writing either at my desk in the library or at home, depending on the household situation. I also spend time visiting museums or attending lectures and art events. As I rely heavily on the library, being closer to central London would save me a lot of commuting time. At the moment, it takes nearly an hour each way to get to the library—even just to pick up a book for a few minutes—so living nearby would make a big difference to my work and routine.

I know my budget is on the lower side for central London, but I’m hopeful I might find a suitable place. I’m also very happy to help with pet care in exchange for lower rent, as I genuinely enjoy being around animals.

I’m looking to move on 12 January. Please feel free to message me if you have a suitable room available.

Thank you so much!
Warm regards,
Zahra
