HELLO 👋
Landlord hoofed and poofed and signed the section 21 eviction notice so I am looking for a new place…
Though continuing my adventure in London is probably preferred, I am open to the possibility of elsewhere if I find a great place in a queer(ish) towns or city that compels me to go further!
Despite labyrinthitis kicking me down briefly, I am enjoying experiencing the city I already loved after moving from Glasgow. PT hospo/retail worker, my long term employment plans are to be on the trains again which means I get to travel again. I do also plan on performing at gigs again so may have late nights getting in. I am mindful and able to do this discreetly and quietly though maybe very light sleepers won't be suited.
My budget is about £750 including bills depending on your housing authority as my budget is pretty much the LHA shared room rate + £100 - 200 *max*.
I am universal credit but I do work part time and also do occasionally get a VO gig.
Anyway that’s the boring stuff.
I’m really into films (cineworld member), all forms of theatre, not just MT and plays but ballet and drag and would love to see opera too. TodayTix has been a great possibility by being here! I like good food and wine as well. I can’t cook for shit but I do sometimes try and like trying new things… if someone cooks then I clean! Otherwise I buy takeaways when on employed income.
I’m also a TV binger and like SCI FI. Star Trek Enterprise is next now Voyager is done.
I‘d say I’m pretty adventurous and like trying new things. Rather try and dislike then not try at all.
Very much excited to see museums and exhibits and all the tourist traps I’ve avoided the past years.
Though not essential: As a flatmate I do like to be sociable and watch a film or binge a TV show together (Star Trek I did with my previous flatmate) or even have a tea/ wine though we can respect when we want to be left alone. Would also be great to find someone who likes museums and theatre trips…
What is essential: We respect the house as a house not just because it’s shared space but we are functioning adults who respect our own spaces. I’m clean and tidy and don’t need a Rota to know when something needs cleaned but if one is there then that’s fine too. I can’t be dealing with folk who can’t use their brain to know the full bin needs emptied!
I'm looking for non smoker (outside and occasional smoking during house parties is fine). Pets are grand and Dogs are a big bonus!
THANK YOU! 😘
