Portuguese Professional looking for buddy up

Hi, I’m Rafael. I’m 30 years old, originally from Lisbon, Portugal, and I work full-time as a Cyber Security Consultant. I have extensive experience with Spareroom and house shares for over 10 years, I’m also an ex-footballer and part-time streamer, so I spend most of my time focused on work, fitness, content, and personal goals.

I’m looking for a long-term place to call home around Manchester, ideally somewhere spacious, clean, secure, and comfortable without making monthly costs unnecessarily stressful. I work from home Monday to Friday, usually 8am–5pm, so having a calm and respectful environment is very important to me.

I’m not looking for a party house. I’m mostly on my computer, either working, studying, gaming, streaming, or focusing on my own projects. I’m sociable and easy to get along with, but I also really value independence, respect, privacy, and personal space.

The ideal housemate would be another single professional who also wants a stable, peaceful home while saving money, staying independent, and enjoying a good quality of life. Someone who is clean, reliable, mature, respectful, and happy to keep the home secure and organised.

I’d like to live with someone who has their own goals, their own routine, and wants a home that feels comfortable rather than chaotic ( fellow IT nerds would be very compatible) . I’m happy to share a nice property with the right person so we can both have more space, save money, and still live well.

I’m looking for a proper permanent home, not just a temporary room. the current 3 bed property where I am currently at, is being sold so I have to leave to a new home no later than 1st July 2026. I am most likely going get a property my self to start this buddying up house split with preferably only 1 person to share with me or that just wants rent a room after I get the set up completed.
