Professional Male seeks a double room

Hi all! I'm Sonny. 29 years old, currently living in North London and work in the City within the activist investor and corporate governance space. I'm also building a digital start-up in two spaces: food/biopharma and fashion/beauty in my spare time, if you want to know more let me know. Originally I am from up north, though I've now been in London for the last 3 years. It's the time for me to look for a new home now since the tenancy in my current place is running out very soon. Rather than renewing it, I am looking to explore living in another area of the city for a new perspective of living in London.

I am seeking double room in Zone 1/2 with no specific location, but would prefer something more centralised as opposed to being far far out. I understand space may be compromised, but I personally prefer to be closer to the hustle and bustle and culture of the city. Such as West (around Baron's Court, West Kensington, Fulham, Parsons Green, Pimlico, Victoria or even to Maida Vale, Kensal Rise, Marylebone), South (E&C, Stockwell, Vauxhall, East Battersea, Southwark, London Bridge) or East (as far as Shoreditch, Dalton, Haggerston, Aldgate). Hopefully to move in late November / December (I need to move out no later than 18th December) - I could move in for a later date than the 18th December for the right place and just leave my things in storage until then.

My estimated budget with bills is circa. £950-1250, preferably. Depending on the circumstances I can be a little flexible - but it is all dependent on the location and home setup. Despite the London stereotype, I've seen some really amazing places on here for that budget having a look over the last year, so I'm being optimistic knowing it's still possible!!

Room in Flat/House

-It would be preferable to have a room to fit a medium size desk for personal study; I do go into the office most of the week.
-Some decent storage.
-Having an en-suite and/or shared living room would be cherry on top, but it is not mandatory as long as one bathroom is usually with one other person.
-Fairly close to well-connected transport links, if not walkable distance to work.
-It would be nice to have a shared living space to socialise in from time to time, or to spend some time with flatmates if and when we can get time to do so.

A Bit About Me:

-I tend to work long hours during the week due to work hours and after-work activities, including my start up, learning French & Italian, gym, rowing training and/or, art shows from museum exhibitions to the ballet. However, trying to make more time to wind down, relax, explore the city on the weekends.
-I am completely accommodating of respecting people's boundaries and understand social batteries vary with everyone; that being said, it may be nice every now and again to socialise in-house or to go out over a meal/drinks or explore something in the city.

-I love rowing, the arts from music, dance and fine art, natural sciences and the world of entrepreneurship; but usually find something of common interest with anyone.
-I'm a non-smoker and ensure in keeping a clean and tidy home & more importantly treating the house/flat like a home.
