Professional Looking for house share or buddy up

Hi, I'm Ram, a 35-year-old Indian Engineer currently based in Cambridge. I've accepted a Postdoctoral position at the University of Bath, and I'm looking for a house share in the Bristol/Bath area from mid-January 2026.

​I moved to the UK in 2016 for my PhD at Coventry University and have since lived and worked in Coventry, Brighton and Cambridge. I'm now looking for like-minded professionals to share a home with, ideally in a house share with no more than 3 bedrooms, with space for a bicycle and a car. I am looking for something around £750-£800 (bills included), however, I am flexible with the budget for the right place.

I'm a pretty easy-going guy, polite and friendly, and I promise not to be a messy or loud person. My idea of a good time is hitting the gym, hiking, catching up on my favorite shows, strolling across the city, eating-out with friends, meditation and getting competitive with some board games. And lately, I've been getting into reading, so I'm open to book club suggestions. Plus, I enjoy cooking for my friends and housemates every once in a while, hope you can handle spicy food ;) I respect others private space, but it would be nice to go out for a beer or have a kitchen conversation once in a while. Also, I am a vegan, however, it's not a deal breaker. Happy to share accommodation with non vegans.

I've been living in shared accommodation for 15+ years, so I am familiar with the dos and don'ts of house-sharing. I'm still good friends with my past housemates, and I've lived in 4 different countries, so I'm pretty adaptable and culturally aware.
