Professional guy looking for a large double room

I'm a self-employed software developer/ux-designer who is also an ex-academic. I'm looking for a large room (living room size) at a house/flat to share with like-minded people.

I have experience in living together. I'm open-minded, laid-back, responsible, sociable, and I also respect personal boundaries and differences (expecting the same).

I'm working remote from home, so a party house won't be my first choice, but I enjoy company of others, sharing drinks, long conversations, cooking (yes, I can cook), watching movies, playing board games, etc. :) I also spend 1/4 of the year abroad, so you'll have the house yourself at some time. I have broad experience in house plants, and would like to expand to gardening, if I can find enough space. I'm also pretty good with pets (especially dogs) and would be happy to share the house with a furry friend.

I'm into technology/science, visual arts, design, sci-fi/fantasy cinema/literature, animation, anime/manga, and gaming.
