Description
Hi, I'm Max. I'm a young professional engineer moving up to Manchester from the south in January next year (I could look to rent from late December, but Jan 2nd is ideal). I'm looking for a sociable house of young professionals with a double room!
About Me:
Well I'm a design engineer and pretty handy when it comes to fixing things around the house if needed. I'm very chatty and always up for meeting new people, but quiet nights in are definitely needed to recharge the social batteries! I'm always up for trying new things and being adventurous in whatever ways I can find. I climb, hike, snowboard, play piano (though I won't have one with me sadly), and love cooking. If I'm trying a new dish I'll probably want your opinion on it! I'm very respectful, tidy, and easy to get along with. I can also provide character references from a number of previous housemates if needed!
Previous living:
So I've lived in two house shares before and have always lived with either girls or a mix of guys and girls. My first house share was me and three girls I didn't know before moving in. After a while I got a place with a friend and rented the spare room out to someone I now consider a good friend. I've only ever had good experiences in house shares and decided that I'd rather live in one than rent an apartment alone!
Living style:
So as I said I spend a lot of time being active which means I'll be out of the house doing something a lot of the day. I'm new to Manchester and imagine I'll spend a lot of time exploring the place too. I do like to go out (obviously once I meet people to go out with!) but I'm never disruptive if I'm back late. I'll always want to get to know the people I live with and I like to encourage house activities, even if it's just a movie night or something to make a house feel like a home.
What I'm looking for:
I'm looking for a double room in a preferably social house share. All the better if it is near a train station or some form of public transport. Primarily I'm looking in Salford as it is close to where I'll be working. I do drive so nearby parking or permit parking would be great! I do enjoy living in a mixed house as I like a wide dynamic but ultimately it's not too important to me!
