Looking for a Flat or buddy-up with a student

Hi there!

I’m currently in the final year of my PhD in Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. I’m looking for a flat or someone to buddy up with for a move-in around the start of April 2025, as my current flat near Holyrood will no longer be available after March.

I’d prefer areas like Newington, Marchmont, or anywhere near Old College, but I’m also open to options a bit further out if convenient. My budget is approximately £750 per month, including bills.

Here’s a little about me:

-I’m respectful of personal boundaries and aim to keep shared spaces tidy and neat.
-I’m mindful of winding down by 11 PM or 12 AM to ensure everyone can enjoy a good night’s sleep, and I’d appreciate the same courtesy from my flatmate.
-Ideally, I’d prefer to live with students for council tax reasons, but I’m happy to live with non-students if they’re okay with handling the council tax.
