Queer, vegan Icelander looking for housing

My name is Anna and I’m looking for housing in London from late August/beginning of September, ideally close to Piccadilly or District Line Underground stops.

I’m from Iceland but I’ll be moving to London from Copenhagen where I’m currently finishing a master’s degree in migration studies. I’ll be doing an internship at the Icelandic embassy in London, but I previously had a career in journalism.

I’m a laid back person who likes cats, plants, hanging with friends, reading, hiking and swimming, among many other things, and I would love to share some experiences with the people I live with, whether it be enjoying a meal together, creative nights with some red wine or simply watching a movie every once in a while. What I hope for in a roommate is mutual respect and shared experiences, conversations over coffee about the newest Netflix documentary series or your latest bad date.

Internship is 6 months so would also consider sublets, preferably for the whole time or at least 2-3 months at a time. Wouldn’t rule out staying in London for longer though, not a big planner. Queer and vegan/veggie home would be a plus but not a must!
