Young professional looking for a room in London!

Hello! I’m Benedetta, I’m 26, originally from Italy, and I’ve been living in the UK for the past 8 years — 4 of those in London.

I’ve just finished my PhD in mathematics and have recently started a new job as a consultant in central London, so I’m now looking for a new place to call home. I’m moving because my current landlord is selling the property, and ideally I’m hoping to move sometime between mid/late July and the first week of August, though I can be a bit flexible, and I'm looking for somewhere I can stay long term.

My budget is around £1000–£1200 per month, depending on the room and location. I’m fairly open on area, as long as the commute to central London is manageable.

As a housemate, I’m friendly, tidy, and very respectful of other people’s space, sleep, and routines. I’ve lived in shared houses for the past 8 years and have always ended up becoming good friends with the people I live with, while also fully appreciating the importance of everyone having their own downtime. I’m always happy to chat in the kitchen, go for a drink, watch a film, or play a board game, but I’m equally very content doing my own thing.

In my free time I like running (but don't worry, I won't try and get you into it), going to the gym, and anything crafty.

I’m looking for somewhere I can properly treat as home, with people who are kind, considerate, and hopefully up for the occasional laugh.
