Description

Hello, I'm a dietitian based in Morningside looking for a flat share. I work weekdays, day shifts and like to frollick on the weekends. Usually with lots of things like yoga, ecstatic dance, cooking, coffee with friends, women's circles.

I have been in Scotland for about 7 years - 3 in Glasgow, 4 in Edinburgh. Currently trialing living in Fife, which has been brilliant but I've realized I miss the city a lot and being close to work and friends is key for good quality of life. I did not appreciate Edinburgh until I moved to Fife. I also did not appreciate that a considerable commute can slowly suck my soul out of my precious body and I infact cannot just overcome it with a can do attitude. However, Fife is amazing and I have great tips to explore it if you fancy.

My main interests include cooking (especially for people I love), yoga, reading, exploring the place I live one fancy coffee shop/hill at a time and connecting with friends. This winter I am plan to become a knitter. I am knot above some low key bribery for a lovely home 🧶 I have made some very cute baby booties and a somewhat lumpy cardigan. I am hoping to get back to cycling and the gym but dealing with some injuries that has me picking up knitting needles right now. I am also undertaking the Artists Way right now and would love to do it with someone if that's your kind of thing. I didn't grow up with art but feeling the call to the importance of this for the human experience and would love for it to be a bigger part of my life.

I would love to find a house share where there's the potential for friendship rather than just co-existing together. I would be very open to sharing week night meals, I love cooking but also love being fed and sharing food with friends. Washing up is on me that night. Love going for walks after work, yoga classes or rotting in front of a movie when it's been a survival kind of day.

My worst habit as a housemate is likely the amount of cooking ingredients I have so if there is a nice chunk of kitchen space that would be brilliant. I get this isn't always possible and I have a big Tupperware box for my baking stuff that can live in my room. You will never need to buy your own spices. I am pretty clean and conscientious. I have references from current and past house mates/landlords and really enjoy living with others especially during the winter months when I can't tell what month it is. Also I love to sauna but am a wuss at cold plunging.

I don't really drink, an occasional glass of wine but I'd rather be up early for yoga or something outdoors. I'm not amazing at small talk and tend towards the deeper topics.

My dream home has a cat. Please have a cat.
