Professional male looking for friendly flat share

Hi, my name's Dan, nice to meet you all.

I'm on the lookout for a friendly house share in Bedminster. My budget is about £750, but that's not fixed. I'm also open to buddying up and going in on a house share.

A Little Bit About Me:

I'm a 32-year-old Northerner from the Lake District. I’ve been in Bristol a couple of months (loving it here, especially Bedminster) staying in an Airbnb, but now I’m looking for somewhere more permanent. I’m not in a rush, and can stay where I am till June, but would be open to moving sooner if the right opportunity came up.

I love all kinds of sports (especially endurance running, cycling and hiking). Work-wise, I am the Manager of a professional athlete, and I’m also training to become a Psychotherapist and will be studying for my Part time Masters come September. I also do a bit of work for Talk Club Bristol - a men’s mental health charity.

Prior to Bristol, I lived abroad for 8 years (Germany, Romania, Australia), where I set up and ran my own hostel, cafe and charity business. I spent the last year living in London, but wanted something a bit smaller and more community-like which is why I’m now setting up a life in Bristol!

I also like to write, love a good documentary, and enjoy cooking all kinds of delicious food from around the world, so if you're about, rest assured you’re going to be well-fed.

Why I’d Be A Good Flatmate:

I'm friendly, tidy, and sociable; and while I value independence and I’m respectful of other people's privacy, I’m keen to build lasting friendships with my future flatmates.

Also, after running my own hostel business, and looking after 1,000s of guests from all over the world, I know what it takes to be a clean, respectful and proactive housemate who can get along well with people from all different backgrounds.
