I'm Joao and I'm looking for a new place to live as my current house, which I share with 3 people, is being sold on the 30th of June 2024.

As an engineering professional, my work is flexible, with 1 or 2 days working from home and the remainder from the office in Chancery Lane. My aim is securing a place with a 40-minute commute to Chancery Lane tube station in central London. Bonus points if those 40-minute can be walking distance :)

- What I'm Seeking
I want to share a house/flat with ideally ONE like-minded individual who shares some of my values and interests. I am open to more people as long as we can all catch up before hand and we all get along well.

- My Background
Originally from the Portuguese countryside, I've been in the UK for nearly six years. I have been living in my current house for nearly 4 years now.

- My Interests
My interests include connection with nature, entrepreneurship, and human development. I like to hit the gym 4 times a week, hike, batch cooking (omnivore), discuss philosophy and businesses, and help people in general.

- What Matters to Me
What I'm seeking is a place I can wholeheartedly call home. And value the details such as the decor, natural light, house upkeep, and a comfortable environment. When sharing a home, communication among housemates and the collective ability to overcome challenges are essential.

- Handy and House Proud
I'm good at fixing things and enjoy DIY projects. So if the need arises, I'm more than happy to punctually address any repairs or maintenance around the house.
