Hello! I’m relocating to Manchester to start a new role as an engineering modeller, and I am looking for a friendly house share to call home.

A bit about me

I am 27, easy-going, sociable, and respectful of other people’s space. I’ve lived in house shares before, so I understand the importance of being considerate and pulling my weight. I take pride in where I live and would treat any new home as my own.

Professionally, I’ll be working Monday to Friday, with a mix of office (at least 2 days per week) and home working.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, hiking, travelling, cooking, and trying new fitness classes. I am generally up for most things and will give (almost) anything a go at least once! As I’ll be new to Manchester, I’m looking forward to exploring the city and getting to know the local area. I’m more likely to be found in a pub or at a wine and cheese night, than in a club.

I’m sociable and always happy to chat or share a meal, but I also enjoy having the occasional quiet night to myself to recharge.

What I’m looking for

Ideally, I’d like to live in South Manchester, particularly Didsbury, Chorlton, or Stockport. I’ve never actually been to Manchester before (!) but I think my priorities are good transport links to Stockport (work) and the city centre.

As I’ll be moving to a city where I don’t yet know anyone, I’m hoping to find a friendly and welcoming household where housemates occasionally socialise, rather than somewhere that’s purely a place to sleep. I’d also love to live with people who take pride in their home and keep shared spaces clean and tidy.

I’ll need somewhere with parking for my car and enough space for a desk.
