✨ Moving to Birmingham | Looking for a studio (or the perfect flatshare!) ✨
Hi! I’m Rocío 😊 I’m looking to move to Birmingham towards the end of September, ideally around 26th–28th September, as I’ll be starting my MSc in Health Data Science on 28th September.
Ideally, I’d love a studio or somewhere I can really make feel like home, but I’m also very open to the right flatshare if we genuinely click. I’m particularly looking around central Birmingham / Edgbaston and anywhere with good connections into the city centre.
A little about me:
I’m currently working in student recruitment and recently graduated with First Class Honours in Health & Social Care. I’m now moving further into the data/tech side of healthcare, hence the MSc, so Birmingham is somewhere I’m hoping to properly make my base rather than just stay temporarily.
Personality-wise, I’m easygoing, clean and respectful, but also social in the right moments. I really like the idea of living with people where we can have our own lives and space, but also occasionally end up cooking together, having a glass of wine, watching something, going out for food or having one of those random kitchen chats that somehow lasts two hours 😂
I love cooking (almost as much as eating), trying new restaurants and cuisines, travelling and meeting people from completely different backgrounds. I’m Spanish, have lived in the UK for years, and I’m always up for exploring somewhere new.
I’m also a gamer and love pretty much every console — my Steam Deck is still one of my favourite unnecessary-but-absolutely-necessary purchases 😂
And, as a trained aesthetician, I’m very much a skincare/self-care girl too, so a cosy evening involving food, skincare, Netflix and a slightly overenthusiastic conversation is completely normal territory for me 😂
Home-wise, I’m genuinely clean and tidy and I really value living somewhere comfortable, peaceful and looked after. I’m definitely not looking for a permanent party house, but equally I’d love somewhere that feels warm and friendly rather than everyone disappearing behind their bedroom doors.
If you have a studio/room available around the end of September, or think we might be a really good fit as flatmates, I’d love to hear from you ✨
