Looking for buddy up for a 2b2b near Stratford

Looking for a flatmate who wants a clean, calm, friendly home near Stratford — not just someone to split rent with.

Hi, I’m Bo — 26, originally from China, and I’ve been living in London for about 4 years. I work in tech/consulting and would describe myself as easy-going, considerate, and pretty straightforward. If something comes up at home, I’d much rather have a quick honest chat than let things get awkward.

Outside of work, I’m usually hiking with a group on weekends, going to the gym, cooking, or just having a quiet evening in. I mostly cook Asian and Italian food, and I always clean up after myself. I don’t smoke, drink occasionally, and I’m happy living with pets.

I’m looking for someone to buddy up with and find a 2-bed, 2-bath flat near Stratford Station, ideally within a 10-minute walk. My budget is around £1300 per person per month, excluding bills. I’m aiming to move in early July and would prefer a minimum 12-month lease.

I’m hoping to find someone who wants more than just a “pay rent and disappear” setup. It would be nice to actually get along, have the occasional meal together, chat in the kitchen, maybe watch something now and then, and make the flat feel like a home. At the same time, I really value personal space and quiet time, so I’m definitely not expecting us to be joined at the hip.

A good fit would be someone who:

- Is tidy and respectful in shared spaces
- Has a fairly normal sleep schedule — I’m usually asleep around 11–12 and up around 8. I’m mindful about keeping noise down after 10pm, and I’d love to live with someone who’s the same.
- Communicates openly rather than letting things build up
- Is interested in creating a friendly, relaxed home dynamic

Probably not the best fit if you’re a couple, regularly host parties, or prefer no interaction with your flatmate at all.
