Looking For A Room

Hi there,

I’m looking for a room in a tidy and peaceful flatshare. I’m sociable and respectful, and I’m looking for either a single or double room. I don’t have too many requirements, as I’m pretty adaptable, but I’d love a place that feels more like a home than just a co-existing arrangement. Ideally, the place should be within 40 minutes cycling distance from the University of Manchester, where I’ll be starting a part-time master's this year.

A bit about me:

+I’m returning to uni after two years of working and traveling. I’ve already had my share of uni life and am now focused on my studies, finding a part-time job, and enjoying a more relaxed social life.
+I’m a little introverted but open up easily and would love to make new friends in Manchester. I’ve heard a lot of great things about the city, its culture, and its vibe, so I’m excited to move!
+I enjoy the outdoors—hiking, wild camping, and cycling along canals or the countryside—and I’m looking forward to exploring the national parks nearby.
+I’m also a fan of chill nights: a couple of pints, good conversation, maybe a movie. I’m not as into big nights out anymore but might venture out every once in a while.
+Cooking and sharing meals is something I really enjoy—it’s part of my Italian upbringing! And no, I won’t judge anyone for eating beans on toast (I love them now, too, after 5 years in the UK).

I’m also open to short lets, which would give me the flexibility to find a more permanent solution without rushing. Of course, if I commit to a specific length of stay, I’ll stick to it.
