Medical student looking for a room

Hi,

My name is Elle (pronounced L) 😁,
And I am a mature, bubbly, tidy and very interesting 24-year-old, who is studying medicine at King’s College London. My dream is to become a cardiothoracic surgeon, and I’m currently having to navigate the challenges of self-funding my education, which costs over £50,000- yikes, I know, and what makes it even more difficult is my 3 hour commute to campus each day.

So thats what brings me here, I am looking for an affordable and welcoming place to call home for up to 5 years.

I am someone who loves to cook - everything from Vietnamese to Thai to Italian to a superb sunday roast dinner and I really enjoy the idea of sharing meals and creating a warm atmosphere around the house. Healthy eating has become a big part of my life recently, so I’d love to find a household who shares that passion. Plus, I am a keen baker, so if you are up for trying freshly made bread and some new recipes with me, then i can promise you the house will be smelling good (and I tidy up afterwards - Bonus! ☺️).

I’m also a big fan of adventures, art, and cars. And since i am a country bumpkin, I am yet to get my bearings on london so if you are free to show me around, I would greatly appreciate it! I can promise you your time will be rewarded with some tip-top conversations plus some legendary memories made. Additionally, if you want to explore Ben Nevis together, then count me in - i am pretty easy going.

While I spend a lot of time studying at home, i can easily switch to the library if that suit the house hold better. I really value a positive and relaxed living environment, so if you’re into board games or movie nights, ill bring the snacks!
Additionally, if you have any pets that wouldn’t mind snuggling up on the end of my bed, that would be the cherry on top.
