Looking for a Room to Rent- September

Hi!
I’m a 28-year-old female looking for a room to rent in Edinburgh.
I’ll be returning to my recruitment job in South Gyle in September. The office has recently moved from Rosyth to Edinburgh, so I’m hoping to find somewhere a little closer, as I was previously commuting from Stirling.
I’ve just spent the summer working at a summer camp in America, so I’m now getting ready to settle back into life in Scotland!

My job starts in September/October and I have some flexibility with my start date, although I’d ideally be looking to move around September. I’m hoping to find somewhere with good transport links to South Gyle.

I’ll be working Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm. Outside of work, I’m pretty easy-going and laid-back. At the weekends, I enjoy catching up with friends, exploring Scotland, going for a run and ending with a sweet treat from a café or bakery afterwards!
I enjoy baking, being by the beach and having a cosy night in watching a good Netflix series. I’ve also recently got into the gym and have been loving F45 classes.
When I’m not working or at home, I love travelling. I’ve recently returned from Australia and have also travelled around New Zealand, the USA and various parts of Europe, so I’m always up for an adventure or exploring somewhere new.

I’m hoping to budget around £700–£850 per month including bills, although I’m open to going a little over for the right place.

Ideally, I’d love to live in a more chilled and relaxed household where everyone can do their own thing but also enjoys having a chat in the evening, watching a series together or grabbing a coffee at the weekend. I have a few friends I’ve met since moving to Scotland and enjoy spending time with them too -you’ll probably find us doing the Meadows 10K or, more likely, recovering afterwards with Nando’s!

I’m looking for somewhere that feels friendly and homely, rather than just somewhere to sleep. If you think I could be a good fit for your flat, I’d love to hear from you!
