Professional women looking for room

Hi! I’m Kristin, 40, originally from America but currently recovering from that (ha).

I’ve been living in Europe for the past seven years (mostly in Greece), and have spent the last three years in Brighton—first in Kemptown, then Hanover, and now back in Kemptown again. I absolutely love Brighton and am hoping to stay in the city, ideally in Kemptown (not too far east), Central Brighton, around The Level, or Hanover.

I work for a human rights organization supporting Afghan women, and this autumn I’ll be starting a PhD in London focused on human rights and migration. Between my work and studies, I split my time between London and Brighton, and when I’m in town I often work from a coworking space or café - I don't like to work from the flat.

Outside of work, I enjoy good conversations, exploring Brighton's cafés and pubs, swimming, walking along the seafront, travel, and spending time with friends. I'm social and friendly, but I tend to socialise outside the flat as opposed to hosting.

As a housemate, I’m clean, respectful, considerate, and easygoing. I enjoy the occasional shared meal, cup of tea, or glass of wine, but I also value everyone's independence and personal space. Ideally, I’m looking for a home where people are friendly and sociable without feeling like they need to be in each other's pockets.
