About Me

Hi there! I'm Tom, a 27-year-old apprentice forester starting an exciting new role with the Forestry Commission in October. I'll be working across Haldon Forest Park and Dartmoor, so I'm looking for a peaceful, well-connected place to call home in or around Exeter.

I'm a non-smoker, have no pets of my own (though I'm very fond of animals), and I'm tidy, respectful, and considerate in shared spaces.

What I'm Like as a Housemate

I'm sociable and enjoy a good chat over a cup of tea or a shared meal, but I also value quiet time to unwind after a busy day. I'm looking for a household that strikes that same balance – friendly and warm, but respectful of each other's space and routines.

I enjoy cycling, climbing, hiking, and being outdoors – so I'll likely be out exploring Devon's beautiful countryside on my days off.

What I'm Looking For

A room in a friendly, calm household
Bills included (or a clear breakdown of costs)
Move-in around late September / early October (flexible)
Off-street parking or easy on-street parking
Secure storage for a bike (shed, garage, or garden)
A garden or outdoor space would be lovely, but not essential
Dog or cat-friendly households very welcome!

Location: Exeter or surrounding villages (within easy reach of Haldon Forest, Dartmoor, and the M5).
