Description
Hi! My name is Violet and I'm 23 years old. I will be starting a PGCE in Secondary Geography at the University of Manchester in September, as well as doing some part-time bar work on the side. I'm currently based in M3 and have lived in Manchester for 5 years after moving here from London for university.
I am looking for a houseshare with young professionals or students around my age. Given the nature of my studies, I will be having a lot of early mornings (i. e. 6am wakeup) so I would feel more comfortable living with people who are happy to share a space with a morning person or are morning people as well (or just forced to wake up early for work).
My ideal houseshare would be all women in an LGBTQ+/420-friendly space. However, I am comfortable with mix-gender houseshares. Unfortunately, I will not be looking into anywhere where I would be the only woman. I would prefer to be in Salford as that is where I am based now, however I am also open to moving to Withington, Didsbury, Levenshulme, Rusholme, Crumpsall, Cheetham Hill, or just anywhere that has good transport links.
Personality-wise, I am very extroverted and have the capabilities to chat your ear off if given the chance. However, I also appreciate my alone time and like to invest my time into my creative hobbies (knitting, embroidery, drawing, sewing) or studying. I love going out, especially to a good cocktail bar or dive, however I am more California sober these days. I am big on reality TV (currently watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), documentaries and I do love a good video essay on random niche topics. I listen to any type of music, including country (kasey musgraves, not morgan wallen) however my favourite artists at the moment are Steve Lacy (the new album particularly), Tiffany Day, After, Chanel Beads, underscores and just anything loud. I love cooking and hosting, so I would love to be somewhere that likes to have friends over and is open to cooking together.
Ideal flatmates for me would be people who are outgoing, love to discover new places, and are a bit spontaneous. The flatmates I've remained friends with have always been the ones who have pushed me outside my comfort zone.
If you have any questions you would like to know about me, I am happy to answer anything!
