Description
Hi There
I’m looking for a new houseshare as my current house has been sold.
Unfortunately this happened a couple of months after I moved in. Prior to this I had been fortunate enough to enjoy living in my previous home 10+ years. Finding the right place to live is very important to me.
I’m a 44 year old South African, who works in Finance. I work 5 days a week, standard working hours, with the option of working from home two days a week.
I am a chilled happy person who appreciates a harmonious environment to live in. I am clean, tidy and considerate and appreciate living in a well kept home. Previous housemates can attest to me being a mature, responsible and respectful housemate - with quite a few having become good friends of mine.
I would describe myself as a sociable introvert. Naturally quieter by nature but friendly and sociable. I have my own established life but am looking for a home to settle down in - not just a place to live.
Whilst I am a young 44, my party days are behind me. I enjoy a chilled lifestyle - spending time with friends, going to restaurants / bars / museums / exhibitions and cultural stuff. I enjoy reading, cooking and hiking. I love the outdoors and animals. I am looking to share with others who also have their own lives but enjoy sharing a cup of tea (or a glass of wine!) and a chat or a trip to the local with fellow housemates - as getting along with the people you live with makes all the difference.
Area - I currently reside in Clapham and ideally would like to stay in the area however I am open to other areas that have a similar vibe. Decent transport links (either train / tube), safe area and greenery is my main criteria. It would be lovely to have easy access to nearby cafes, restaurants and pubs. Also happy to consider Greater London areas that fit this bill.
Criteria:
- Decent sized double room (furnished /unfurnished);
- Share with professionals or mature students;
- Non-transitory (i. e. looking to share with long-term tenants);
- No more than 3 other housemates.
I have a very good credit rating and a good relationship with my previous landlord (10 year history), who can provide a reference and attest that I am a responsible, stable tenant who takes good care of a property that I am living in. Current managing agent can attest the same.
Hopefully that is everything! :)
Thanks for your time. If I sound like I could be the kind of person you are looking for, please let me know.
Cheers,
Jen
