Bollywood dancer looking for studio accommodation!

I am looking to relocate property ASAP. As my current living situation is a bit challenging for my mental and physical health.
I started afresh in the West Midlands the past two years. I am interested in moving to the main city of Birmingham or London/Wembley/Harrow.

I am currently stuck in a less than ideal living environment after staying in refuge. (Not for much longer fingers crossed) In 1 bed housing association flat that I am renting out. It is very old and seems to have been severely neglected by previous tenants.

I was forced to move in or threatened homeless if I did not accept. It has been quite difficult for me since I moved in at the start 2022.

Due to my health condition and my part time work as a bellydance and Bollywood performer, as well as model. I am finding it very difficult to manage this property on my own. I do not have the time, energy nor stable enough health to be to deep clean, redecorate, etc. Especially for a property that is not even my own.

If I didn’t have a health condition it would have been doable. As well as if I had bought the property in my name it would have been completely different story. Making it my own responsibility, but this is a housing association that I am renting.

I could only manage rearranging the living room thus far and flooring in the bathroom and living room. Obviously alongside furniture.
It was in poor condition prior to moving and the situation has slightly improved but still difficult to manage the rest on my own.

I am looking for a new property to stay that is ideally newly/recently refurbished, clean, decorated and spacious. Ideally my own studio/one bedroom or ensuite.

I am a self employed working professional who works part time and on my own terms. This is due to my fibromyalgia, (a health condition) I receive PIP as a result & in receipt of FULL housing benefit which goes up to 1K or more depending on the area rate

If you are discriminatory about this, please DO NOT bother reaching out or wasting mine or your time. Or at the very least confirm it before we proceed with anything. Because MULTIPLE people have been perfectly fine with this as I am also self employed part time. But did not go through for completely unrelated reasons. Glad that’s out of the way phew!

Seeking a studio flat, my own bathroom, DSS accessible! With bills included. My ideal is a double room with a spacious living room space or a studio flat/1 bedroom flat. I am open to house share only if we are splitting the rent costs and.

With respectful, kind, non discriminatory landlords and tenants who are seeking professionals like myself. As well as practical, compassionate and peaceful tenants.

I am more than happy to relocate for long term lettings. No short term please. Once I find my ideal place, have a viewing first ideally. Only upon details confirmed I can have a moving date. I may then hand in a leaving notice, please note it is a 2 weeks notice. So please be patient with me once confirmed!

Cleaning services are ideal as I am quite a busy person with my performing work, acting and other interests.
Not completely necessary but ideal and preferred!

Having my own bathroom is also ideal if that is something that is available with any house sharers. If not this is not much of an issue as I have flatshared before, but the sharers MUST be hygienic. But it definitely is a big preference.

I am pretty open minded about flat sharing/house sharing as I have done so previously for long term. I get along with people of all backgrounds, cultures and ages. Willing to provide references if needed.

Absolutely no extremely loud kids or noisy house sharers after early hours please as I work late nights and value my sleep. On days I am not working or not sleeping after night shift it’s fine but there is a limit and time for everything. We may also vibe together on my days off!

Important note; as much as love cats (my current neighbours cat is an ABSOLUTE SWEETHEART) unfortunately I am severely allergic so no shares with them unfortunately:( Dogs are okay as long as they are not too loud, dangerous or trained well.

Smoking in your own room is fine but not near me as I have mild asthma that can get triggered by cigarette smoke. Same with the pet allergies that can get severe. Glad that’s cleared up.

When I am not working on the weekends, I am quite the homebody who loves to stay engaged with my hobbies, such as cooking, reading tarot cards, spiritual interests, practicing dancing (I will happily use headphones if this noise is ever an issue!) cleaning & organising (yes that is also my hobby lol) reading books and self care.

I occasionally like to cook (when it is not chaotic for me so basically most times lol). So brownie points for people who like to cook! Massive foodie, always down for food outings, food sharing, cooking together! Major Indian food, Chinese food & sushi enthusiast. I also love a good café as I LOVE coffee.

I also love to go out for club nights specifically Indian music, remixes & Bollywood dance nights. As I am a Bollywood dancer!
So if that's your thing, perfect! We shall get along well or even get to party together~

I also am working on spiritual development hence the tarot cards and I also read for others. (Paid lol please don’t ask for free reads that’s disrespectful) Meditation is a perfect down time for me hence I appreciate peace and quiet occasionally too from my hectic lifestyle.

A garden is ideal as I love being outside in nature especially to wind down. Without having to leave my house? EVEN BETTER! :'D

I hope you don’t let my ideals throw you off as I am pretty flexible and willing to make things work. Some things are non negotiable but others I can work around easily.
