Hi all - just putting my feelers out there 🐙
Looking to move this year after spending nearly 12 years at a wonderful communal house. It's actually a big step for me but looking for a smaller house share or the same if its a good mix of people, currently living in a 6-person house share.
I'm 45 years old and looking to live in a house with people of a similar age (though age is a number) I'm in no rush and will only move if it feels right and if you think I'm a good fit. I'm looking for a houseshare that is chilled, a house that is loved, and a place that doesn't mind throwing social gatherings too.
I've nurtured and kept a community vibe going at my current place, lots of ex-housemates are now close friends and I've kept them involved in the house throughout the years.
I do love the house and the community it has produced dearly but I want to keep things fresh and not become stagnant here as I'm getting older.
I'm looking for a smaller place that has that same vibe where kind or a similarsize if the stars allign, occupied by friendly people welcome my friends and where I can meet new people and get to know friends from your house too. Or would consider living solo or with a landperson (if the fit is right)
I work for We The Curious and I'm also an artist/photographer. I also host history walks as well for the LGBTQ+ community too. I'm pretty independent, I love riding my bicycle, going on walks, creating wildlife-friendly habitats in gardens, and love to cook vegetarian food too.
I'm quite tidy in communal spaces and look after things - becoming good at fixing things too! I'm also generous and enjoy cooking for people. I'm not a person who likes freeloading, my generosity has limits.
I'm looking for anywhere pretty central and happy to pay up to £700 a month for rent inclusive. I have a really good relationship with my landlord and I need to give him a month's notice. Ideally, I'd like to have a bit more so I can sort all my belongings out, but ready to move out from mid October onwards.
I do have furniture so I don't mind if the room is unfurnished. I just thought I'd put this out in case of someplace out there is a perfect stepping stone from my current place.
Thanks for reading!
