Returning Expat Needs place to make Home

My name is Carl. I’m a 60-year-old British expat returning to the UK to settle down for retirement and to spend time with my family and my ailing mother.

I am looking for a short- to medium-term rental while I search for a long-term home, so a long minimum term is not suitable. Ideally, I would like to be close to local amenities.

I have a stable private income of approximately £3,500 per month, which can be easily verified. I am happy to provide references to demonstrate my reliability as a tenant.

**I require zero or a very low deposit due to the high costs involved in relocating.**
Rent budget: up to £650 per calendar month, all bills included.

My preferred move-in date is around 24th January 2026. If you’re seeking a clean, tidy, and very quiet tenant, I would be an excellent candidate.

While I understand that in-person viewings are preferred, I am open to securing the property with a rental payment after 17th January, alongside a remote viewing via WhatsApp video with the owners or agents. If this is not possible, I will need to decline as I must be certain of having a place to return to. If the property is rented before then, I would appreciate it if you could keep my details on file for future availability.
