PhD Student looking for double bed

Hi, my name's Liam. I'm a 27 year old (soon to be) student and am looking for a room in York within cycling distance of the University. I’m from Edinburgh originally but have been in Manchester for the past 3 years.


I’m starting a PhD in Physics at York on 21 Sep, but would be available to move in anytime after August.
I'm pretty easy going, love a well maintained kitchen and tend to keep pretty busy during the week between work and going to the gym. Keen to hang out during the evenings, but also happy doing my own thing if you're a busy household. My girlfriend is also moving to Edinburgh so she’ll probably be visiting at the weekend quite often when I’m not up in Edinburgh myself.

Looking for a room with a double bed, ideally a desk too, relatively close to the Uni. Would like to to live with other postgrads or professionals, as I expect to be quite busy studying. I've rented for 9 years and have never had any complaints from landlords or flatmates, as I'm tidy and respectful.


Still based in Manchester but can organise coming across for viewings or have a call to suit and hopefully we get along well.
