I’m Jodie, I’m a 25 year old PhD Student, and I'm looking for a room or 1 bed to rent in Cardiff around Jan 2026 ☺️
Room Search Logistics: Ideal areas for me would be Gabalfa, Heath, Llanishen, Pontcanna, Cyncoed, Pen y Lan or Roath (North Cardiff). I am looking for a furnished double bedroom/flat and I also have a car so would need somewhere with available parking. If sharing I would ideally I’d like to live with all-females but am open to meeting male housemates too.
About me: I am a full-time sport psychology PhD student and I work hybrid from home and from campus. I enjoy an active lifestyle (walking, weightlifting, mediocre at crossfit 🙈) I am really into cooking and am getting into baking. I also love reading, listening to music and watching films.
As a housemate I am very clean and organised and I always treat any house I am in as a home. I like to be sociable, however I also need a balance of quiet time… especially after a long working day full of PhD information overload 😅. I am always very communicative of when I need this though. I also adore animals so would be open to moving into a house with pets.
