Looking for the full enchillada

Currently hard to beat Living in a 5 bedroom house. paying off someone's mortgage who gives me the house to myself once a month while they holiday for a week, just the landlord and I. Massive garden and kitchen which I loved

Although now he's decided to sell. I'm on the hunt to find someone else and help pay their mortgage off instead.

This is a key factor I'm really looking for a solid year and hopefully more. I really cannot be bothered to move around, and I believe that if I give you monthly payments of rent, you need to commit to renting a room.
especially if we agree on a period of time. to stick to that agreement.
I want a new motorcycle and I want a holiday next year, I need decent digs to do that.

SO PLEASE im only interested in those who can deliver.

I have an 8 week policy where if its not working out for whatever reason, I need 8 weeks minimum to move out.
its impossible to do it in 4 weeks especially when you work full time and have the standards that I have for living.

after a month were gonna know, if were suitable for one another
think of it like a paid 30 day trial.
Im either gonna love the property and get on with you, or i'm gonna bolt and say thanks but this isn't for me.
after 30 days il ask you if you want to live together. and we can go from there.

Ive had so many landlords who want to get a Tennent, but the last three, One wanted to sell his house and move up north.
another one fell in love and wanted his privacy back, and the last one, she had her contract terminated and didn't get the renewal
I work 50 hours a week, I normally do Wednesday to Sunday off on Mondays and Tuesdays
as you can probably imagine that kinda throws a spanner in my works. if all of Sudden Landlord has "Change of heart/difficult circumstances" yeah. its really not fun for me.
just want to be clear. Im being honest with you, I expect the same in return.

If your in a relationship, and your spouse is the forefront of your decision making. its a tough cookie to swallow for me as well. so please make sure its a mutual thing for you and your spouse to want to have a Tennent. I normally won't live with couples for this reason

I'm a full time chef.
Single, no kids, and no pets.

I'm healthy and im trying to find a reasonable deal.
I keep myself to myself.
I will not move into a Dirty or Smelly house so if you have skid marks and pubes on your toilet, count me out,
I dont mind smokers so long as its outside the house, cmon its not hard.
I cannot stand B. O so if you don't wear deodorant, don't write to me.
and if you don't bleach your bins.. kindly see ya.

and here's the thing with mess, few plates left in the sink
only bleach the floors once a week. sound.

your gonna know if your a messy person - accept it and admit it. "If you are"
like me il do all me laundry but I won't hang it or fold till the next day.

I don't mind mess, someones load in the machine, absolutely fine, wellies or boots by the door, towels on the floor fine. here's an example, lets say its Saturday night, and you wanna go out and party and come back and party till whenever. Sunday you're gonna be hungover all day, I get that, but by Monday afternoon LATEST you should clear your mess up.
Im pretty lenient, IF YOU CANT AGREE, No worries move on.
But
if I clear it up on Tuesday morning im gonna be in a mood because Its bugging me, you need to go out and get a reward. Its simple I scratch your back, you scratch mine go an get a load of fairy liquid or toilet rolls or a curry or something. its just the right thing to do.

when I slip up, I pay for it. one way or another.

I might put my whites on a wash on and have to leave to work early.
I need someone who can throw it in a tumble dryer or slap it on the clothes horse to dry by the evening but il swing by a takeaway or pick up a bottle of wine to say thanks or Il cook you some dinner. or whatever.

I enjoy the simpler things in life and im old fashioned for my age, I like manners, I like please and thank you and good morning and good night. and please chew with your mouth closed.
I value sleep and peace and quiet, a glass of wine. a Bbq. a bonfire,
Im not a nerd, I used to go to techno parties i'm just focused for 2026 being a great year.

I enjoy my own time and space.
I love baking, I like cooking for people, I enjoy a run and a cold plunge.
Heres how this works
Ive written £525 now that can go up or down,
You might have something at £700 a month, but It may not have parking, or its one cupboard door in the kitchen for my plates and mugs and one row in the fridge for my food.. But it comes with an ensuite. I still want to see it and or meet you. you might be really cool

it could be you have a room for £400 a month and its on a farm in the middle of the sticks. and you've got a couple of dogs that need walked every morning but its brilliantly quiet and theres plot where I can garden

you could be recently divorced and need a travel for the next 4 months and you want those mortgage payments £600 coming in each month.

I want a lovely house mate, I want someone who works, I want an optimist, I want someone who is a decent team player. I benefit you, you benefit me.
I would like the same amout of commitment that I deliver.
I work really hard, and I need someone who equally works their arse off, and understands that.

I ride a motorcycle, and I have a couple boxes and a couple suitcases of belongings

I know this is a read but I prefer to put all my cards out on the table. So you know what your working with. im not difficult, ive just had annoying circumstances and thats irritating to deal with when im trying to get ahead not fall behind.
