Short Let Wanted for May 2026

Hey there!

I’m Rachel, a professional editor from Canada coming to Edinburgh for the Month of May.
I’m looking for a double room for all or most of this timeframe.

Budget is around £850/month (including bills) but can be somewhat flexible for the right situation.

My only limitation is that I’m seriously allergic to cats, but any other animal is fine (if not preferred!)

I’m clean, quiet, easy-going, and LGBTQIA+ and other things friendly. I like museums, art galleries, irreverent TV, books, losing at pub trivia, and aimless seaside strolls.

I also love live music (particularly outdoor festivals), comedy shows (amateur nights are always weird), kitchen dance parties, and the occasional adult beverage or two.

I can provide references from previous flatmates, landlords and/or Airbnb if required.
