Retired Teacher (60+) Seeking Homeshare: Enrichment & Companionship in Chichester or surrounding areas

I am a mature, respectful professional teacher currently working in Chichester, looking for a room in a peaceful home. Because my budget is £300/month, I am seeking a "Homeshare" style arrangement where I can provide high-quality companionship in exchange for reduced rent.
As a teacher, I enjoy staying mentally active and would be a perfect match for a homeowner who enjoys intelligent conversation, board games, puzzles, or card games. I am a calm, patient, and reliable individual who can provide a sense of security and a friendly face.
Please note: I am looking for a home where my contribution is focused on companionship and mental engagement. I am happy to help with light organization, shopping or errands, but I am unable to undertake heavy cleaning or domestic chores like cleaning toilets/bathrooms or looking after pets etc.
I am a non-smoker, tidy, and have excellent professional references. If you or a loved one would benefit from having an educated, engaging lodger in the house, I would love to hear from you.
I am a part time teacher and my DBS (criminal record) has been recently updated . The respectable homeowners must feel much safer about letting me into their home.
