Dear lovely future flatmates 🌸,
I’m a 26 year old Postgrad psychology student and am looking to move out of my student accommodation as I am ready to start making a home out of Edinburgh. I LOVE nature so I’m quite outdoorsy and I recently got new hiking shoes so if going out is what you’re into than we will surely get along 🏔️. I’m a certified yoga teacher and although I don’t teach at the moment I still love doing yoga (and I’d be happy to do yoga with you :) ). I’m also a musician and I’d love to get a record player so I can finally listen to my small but growing vinyl collection 🥺 so that’s something I’d like to bring to the flat (and I’m always going to be interested in music you’re currently listening to!). Although I love singing loudly I have deep respect for people I love with and would always check with you so that I don’t disturb your work/studies (keeping in mind I’m also currently occupied with studies and will not be singing as much as I’d like 🫣).
On the more introverted and quieter side I love fantasy, history and romance books, I love a good series, movies (My dinner with André is my fav, what’s yours?), cooking and painting. I had an ambition to learn knitting and I plan to come back to it after I hand in my dissertation (can’t wait).
The ideal flat share for me is respectful and communal. I love sharing food, hearing about your day, maybe playing board games or just cleaning the flat together while listening to music 🫂✨🫦. Most importantly though, I hope we’re gonna make the place homely and be comfortable around each other. Sharing flat is not always easy but with the right attitude it can be an amazing experience 🧚🏻‍♀️.
