Looking for double room in Brighton :)

Hey there! I’m Liam - I’m 27 (28 in July) and I’m looking for a double room to move into in Brighton. I have a job opportunity coming up that is based in Brighton, so ideally would be looking to move in around the 20th-25th of July this year. The job opportunity is full time and permanent, so I would like to find somewhere to call home for a longer period of time if possible :)

A bit about me - I work in retail and have a job transfer coming up to the Brighton store branch (yes you can utilise my discount if you need haha). I have current experience in renting and flatsharing, so I have good etiquette when it comes to living with other people and handling bills. I’ve been wanting to move to Brighton for years now, as I fell in love with the city when I visited my friends a lot during our uni years. I’m a big fan of the beach, swimming, video games, reading, the good vibes Brighton has, the nightlife, the daylife… and anywhere I haven’t been/experienced I’m keen to explore! People say living by the water helps creatives and I think being by the seaside would also help encourage my creative side to come out - I’m curious to see what hidden skills I may have!

What kind of place I’m looking for - I’d like somewhere that is a double room and is more central, so that I could walk to work but not a huge issue if I end up a bit further afield, as I know buses are usually really reliable in Brighton. Preferably, I’d like to live with other queer people and/or people that are a similar age to me and people who like being social but also allow for downtime too. And of course clean and tidy people - I am very clean and tidy myself, so you wouldn’t have to worry about mess.

The financial bits - My maximum budget would be ~£800 per month including bills - I’m sure I could make adjustments but this is a good guideline for me. I can provide a guarantor if needed and I also have savings as a real last resort.
