Description
Hi,
My name’s Damisola and I’m a journalist looking for a funished room in London. I’m moving to start my current job as a financial journalist full time. It has been part time since October while I complete my degree, I’ll be done in the third week of January and starting my job full time on the 22nd of January.
I’m looking to move in on the 19th of January and stay for up to a year. It could be more or less depending on the fit.
A little about me - I’m a 20 year old queer woman (she/her). I’m a tidy and considerate flatmate to have. I respect other people’s space but I’m also very friendly and like to get along well with my flatmates. It’s important to me that a long-term place feels like a real home.
I will work in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday), and work from home on the remaining two days. My office is based in Covent Garden so it would be nice to be within an hour commute but it’s not a deal breaker as my budget is £650 including bills.
I’m prioritising places with no deposit or deposits £200 and under. If the deposit is over £200, I can only pay a holding deposit of £200 to secure the room then the remaining amount along with the rent before I move in in January.
My interests include watching tv and films, reading books (especially romance), going out, doing creative activities, fashion and music. I’m also looking to get into yoga and theatre when I move so if this is something you’re interested in or already do, it could be something we could do together.
I’m a single occupant but I’d like to feel free to have friends or family visit or stay overnight occasionally, always with enough notice and never too often.
I’m not very picky about the ages or genders of my flatmate(s) as far as they are considerate and respectful. I don’t smoke/vape or have pets, but I don’t mind living with people who do.
