Female (young 42), professional seeks room

Hi there

I am a 42 year old primary teacher (for 14 years) and wedding photographer. Last year, I decided to take a career break to study a MA Photography at the Royal College of Art. A mature student! I am living in Rotherhithe and love this area but happy to move anywhere in London for the right set up.

I’m from Scotland and have been in London for a year now. I rent out my flat in Glasgow and continue to work part-time as a wedding photographer. I will also be returning to teaching and I am currently applying for jobs. I rented out my spare room for five years so I am very familiar with sharing accommodation. I am looking for a calm, friendly and homely environment. I’d describe myself as independent, at ease and sociable but also enjoy my own space. I am relaxed but clean, tidy and enjoy nice surroundings therefore, I would seek that in a future home. Generally, I’m out and about doing things or being active but also enjoy cooking, having a beer or wine and relaxing with a film.

Having travelled extensively, I enjoy meeting new people. I've lived in Brighton for many years so I have a close network of friends there Due to wedding commitments in Scotland, I will also be travelling back and forth on certain weekends to work and visit friends/family.
