Friendly, socialised author seeking quietish room

Hello I am looking for a place in a house where I can be a friendly, sensitive, quietish presence. I have a dog - a very quiet and good-natured sheepdog, so I'm hoping to find a house where someone would like him. Obviously I would wipe his paws and fur carefully, if he needs it. Perhaps you already have a dog, who would enjoy company, as dogs often do; perhaps I could walk your dog for you. I love reading and running in the park and writing things which are usually funny. I have just sailed the Atlantic twice to lead a tree planting project- extreme training for sharing space (you learn to clean and tidy, to be quiet, when needed; but when a good chat occurs, to really enjoy it). I have a girlfriend in Brighton who I often visit, and a mother in Mere too, so I wouldn't be there the whole time. Personally I prefer a vegan diet, though I am not averse to an egg, and accept almost all habits in a flat mate, though I might struggle, if you play the bagpipes.
