Language professional looking for a room

I'm looking for somewhere closer to my workplace, which is in the Bay area close to Cardiff Central. I have a one-month notice period on my current accommodation.
I'm a bit of a nerd, into board games, fantasy literature, etc., as well as writing, travel, niche music and exploring. I'm an outgoing person but happy to keep to myself as required and definitely appreciate peace and quiet in the evening. I'm also happy to hang out and explore the area. I don't have pets, but I do love cats. I don't smoke and very rarely drink alcohol. I don't own a car.
I require an open-minded LGBT-friendly household.
I'll need a desk and reliable internet access for working from home as required. I'm also pretty tall so low ceilings or small beds might be a problem!
I work at the office near Cardiff Central twice per week, so proximity to the city centre or at the very least good transport links would be ideal.
