One bed flat or a spare room for 6 months

Hi!

My name is Jeremy and I’m looking for a room to rent from March for at least six months. I’m moving to the UK to start a new job and looking for a place to get settled while deciding on a permanent place to live. I’m open to most places in London. An easy commute to the city would be grand.

About me:
I’m a bit of a nerd. Originally from New Zealand but have lived in London before, and work in finance. I enjoy running, music (I play the guitar and piano badly) and having a quiet drink with friends at the pub. I’m friendly, very clean (and clean often) and considerate. I'm pretty independent and won't get in anyone's way. I have house-shared for many years and know the rules. I’m not a party person – those days are long gone – and won’t be inviting guests over. I work pretty hard and like to wind down when at home. I don’t have much stuff so looking for a furnished place.

My preference is to rent a one-bedroom place or to share with just one other person in a two-bedroom place with an ensuite/private bathroom. I’m probably too old for anything more than that!
