Description
Hi there! 👋
I’m Rose, 33. I’ve been in the UK for 14 years now (slightly alarming how fast that happened), and I work as a freelance content producer making videos and other creative mischief for the internet ✨
I’m looking for a room from around 15th May. Ideally something long-term, but I’m open to short-term if it leads me to the right place. East London would be perfect, though anywhere near water has my heart. Canals, rivers… even a heroic puddle.
There’s something about being close to water that keeps me emotionally balanced.
I’m also intentionally looking for something simple and affordable, as I want to focus on saving money and building a bit of stability this year. I’ve actually just come back from spending time living in a monastery in Japan, so I’m very used to living in a calm, minimal, and respectful way. I don’t need much to be happy, just a peaceful space that feels like home.
As a housemate, I’m clean, respectful, and very on top of shared spaces. I’m the kind of person who wipes down the counters without needing to be asked, which I know is a rare and beautiful quality in London. I’m sociable and enjoy a chat over dinner or the occasional spontaneous wine night, but I’m definitely not looking for a party house. I really value a calm, comfortable home where everyone can also have their own space.
I do have a bit of a theatre kid side, so there’s a small chance of improv games while cooking, but I promise it comes with good energy and not chaos. I’ve lived in communal houses before, so creating a space where people feel safe, respected, and at ease is genuinely important to me.
I’d love to live with kind, thoughtful people who take care of the home and each other. Bonus points if you’re into films, art, good food, or a slow wander by the canal.
If it sounds like we’d get along, I’d love to come by for a viewing and say hello.
Warmly,
Rose 🌱✨
