I am easy going approachable single 60 year old humanist. I like running(100
miles a week). I like clever puns masquerading as dad jokes and going to art galleries and I support Arsenal.

I work for the Association for Nutrition a voluntary regulatory body for nutritionists. WFH. My employer like many employers have decided to throw the office in the bin. Nothing I can do about that but accept it and move with the times. But you needn’t about Wi-Fi costs as my employer has provided a phone which I use as a hotspot. My employer pays for my Wi-Fi use WFH not you.

I have a twelve year old daughter who has asked me to say she is kind and respectful. I have some low seating modular furniture that transforms into a bed which Eleanor loves to sleep/relax in.

I would like her to stay with me once a fortnight at the weekend, Saturday night, out by early afternoon on Sunday. I hope this meets with your approval.

I am out most evenings - a typical week consists of seeing my elderly mother Mon Tues Thursday evenings. Seeing my daughter Wednesday evening.

My favourite author is Jorge Luis Borges, my favourite film toss up between , Nic Roeg’s Performance and The Conformist by Bertolucci. Music, depends on my mood. I am an extrovert who likes meeting new people and socialising, I like a chat, but I know to leave. I am also independent and can deal with my own company.

I don’t really cook, unless putting the occasional pizza in an oven is considered cooking. I wash up and go.

I am a vicarious creative through membership of the Tate, Barbican, South Bank, V&A etc. Politically and economically I am a libertarian, a bit Simon Jenkins, but not, I repeat not like Liz Truss.

I have lived in HMOs with flatmates in their 20/30s, families, people even older than me and pets.

I believe in being authentic. True to my own personality, values, and spirit, regardless of the pressure that to act otherwise. To be honest with myself and with others, and take responsibility for my mistakes and what I can control. But that cuts both ways doesn’t it, otherwise no relationship can be truly authentic, can it. Advocate of being able to respectfully disagree. Something which seems to have been lost in this social media age.

Live and let live, I do my best not to judge. Looking for a place to call home.
