Ben, 32, designer, looking for East London flat

Hey everyone! Welcome to my little corner of SpareRoom. My name's Ben, I'm 32 and work as a product designer in tech. I’ve been subletting my mates flat in London Fields the past year, but he gets back in January, so I’m looking for a new place to call home by then.

FLAT:
- Ideally share with 1 or 2 others (open to 1 bed too)
- Chilled out, clean and tidy
- Age range 27–35
- Price range £800–£1600 pcm (more if 1 bed)
- Move in anytime January

ME:
I'm easy going, house-trained (the tidy flatmate), independent, like a laugh and like to think I've got my head pretty screwed on. I'm after a pretty chilled out flat where people are on their respective grind, but also up for food/drink/gig/walk/chill when the time's right.

I have an appreciation for good music, films, food, and plants. I love going on canal/park walks, trying new restaurants, tennis, yoga, and then really enjoy work and the creative process behind building products.

I come with no pets, but my last two flats have had cats, so I'm pet trained and would love some furry friends to live with, but this is defo not a hard requirement! I'd also like to join and contribute to the vibes of a new flat with some new people I can be friends with.

I WFH ~2 days per week so would need space in my room for a desk.

In my past life I was up in Leeds for uni and have since been on two summer and two winter seasons where I taught sailing and windsurfing in Vassiliki, Greece in the summer (sick windsurf spot) and was a driver out in the French Alps in the winter (love the mountains). After that I moved up to Edinburgh to do a coding course before moving down to London where I'm currently living my little life and looking to make some new friends to live with.

I guess the best way to gauge what I'm about is to just list a few favourite tv series', so;

- Suits (for the hustle)
- Top Boy (for the inner OG)
- Twin Peaks (for the weird)
- Ru Paul's Drag Race (for the mindless fun)

And movie love ranges from cult classics to chick flicks.
