Mature professional looking for quiet room

I'm a mature professional who owns and runs his own exterior cleaning business as a sole trader and I am looking for a quiet room in shared accomodation.

I am a 50 year old non smoker who doesn't drink and I enjoy walking and outdoors. I'm an avid reader which includes literature, psychology, theology and philosophy. I will be returning to edication next year to study at St Andrews so I would need somewhere until Jan 2025.

I'm quite open to different types of property and would consider any location within commuting distance to Edinburgh. I'd also consider rural, semi-rural or villages and towns surrounding the Lothians as I have my own transport.

My ideal housemate(s) would be proffesionals or students who are of a similar nature.
