Looking for a flatshare

Hi there!

I’m Lia, 27, Greek, currently doing a PhD in social and political psychology, and apparently in desperate need of some sunshine. 🌞

I’ve been living in London for almost two years in a lovely flatshare, but sadly, my landlords have decided to sell the place. So here I am, looking for a new home for (at least) a year!

The short version:

I'm a sociable introvert, always up for a chat or coffee, but equally happy to give space if that’s the vibe. I’ve lived with all sorts of people and easily adapt to different lifestyles and needs.

I'm a work-from-home researcher, quiet during the day, and conveniently around to collect everyone’s deliveries (!)

Above-average cleaner, I’m that person who deep cleans the oven, scrubs the bathroom tiles, and degreases the mysterious thing above the stove (often as a form of stress relief).

I’ve been on both sides of the “viewings game,” so I know how stressful it can be to find the right fit. I’m genuinely keen to connect and make a home that works for everyone.

Other things that might matter:

Guests and partners are absolutely fine by me (no permission slips needed). I'd give you a heads-up if I were to invite a friend for a coffee once in a blue moon.

I won't be taking over the space with things! I'm quite minimalist, and I won't change the aesthetic of a nice flat by bringing heaps of stuff. I just need space in my room for my trusty desk (100cm x 60cm) and chair that I bought specifically to survive PhD life. I also have a few lovely plants (each has her own personality), in some stunning ceramic pots.

If by chance you have a cat, look no further, I’m the best cat mum you could ask for.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me:

At the gym (4x a week, I love weightlifting).

Reading, painting, making things with clay, or crafting anything that can be crafted while watching cult series or nerdy video essays.

Travelling (conferences and stuff, or just visiting my best friend in Paris, parents in Athens).

On long walks with friends who might occasionally drop by for a coffee (I'd give you a heads-up of course, we’re very boring psychologists, and the wildest we get is complaining about politics; happy to introduce them!).
