I’m 26 and work in sports architecture (stadiums/olympics etc) in Fitzrovia. I’ve lived in London for 2.5 years in a flat but my housemates are now moving out to live with boyfriends/move to different areas of London, so I’m making a change myself. Previous to that I lived in Manchester for 5 years for uni/work in a flat with one of my best friends.
Working in architecture Ive always loved keeping my flats very homely, clean and well decorated. I’m big into cooking, cycling, sewing (I’ve made/fixed a lot of stuff for the flat), yoga/pilates, read a lot as well (my friends and I have a book club), used to be very musical and arty but rarely have time for that with work now!
I grew up in London so have lots of friends here and am quite social out of the house, going to the cinema, pub, restaurants, football or rugby games etc. I don’t tend to host at home often other than a couple casual dinners and glass of wine every few months.
With my current housemates we love having a night in to watch some terrible reality tv or a Netflix show and on occasion make some dinner/sweet treats for each other. Your housemates sound like we have a lot in common, I’m looking to make friends and to have a nice chat in the evenings and casual pub nights out but we have our own thing going on too.
